Days 01 :
Arrive at Tribhuwan
international airport,
Kathmandu, you are welcomed
by the hospitable meeting
and then you will be
transferred to your hotel.
Short briefing will be
followed about necessary
formalities and rest of the
program. Depending on
arrival time you will have
choice of visiting nearby
sanctuaries or have a rest
day.
Days 02 :
After breakfast we drive to Swoyambhunatha
stupa has it that Manjushree,
found of Kathmandu valley,
and discovered the lotus of
ancient valley lake on which
site the great stupa of
swoyambhunath was later
built. The omni sighted
stare of Buddha greets
visitors & residents a like
compassion. This is one of
the oldest Buddhist stupa in
the world, which has been
registered in UNICEOO
heritage side. We then visit
to Kathmandu Durbar Square.

Kathmandu where you can see
the House of Living Goddess
”KUMARI” Kasthamandup
temple” Said that was built
from single tree in 16th
century, big bell-big drams,
erotic carving in old
temple, old palace etc. We
then finally were
sightseeing to Patan Durbar
Square. Patan Durbar square
is one of the beautiful
Durbars square in Kathmandu
valley. It is very famous
for woodcarving, Metal
works, Temples and
Monasteries. Tour of Patan
includes tour of Krishna
temple, Patan king’s palace,
Golden temple and much more.
Days 03 :
Drive to the airport for the
flight from Kathmandu to Lhasa. This
1-hour Trans Himalayan
flight will give you an
opportunity to have an
aerial view of Mt. Everest
and other Himalayan Peaks.
Arrival at Gonggar airport
around 13.30 hrs. Local
time. After clearing
immigration and customs it
will be a two-hour drive to
cover the 93 km. to Lhasa,
which is situated
at altitude of (3650m).
Days 04 : We start our
sightseeing with a visit to
one of Tibet's most
important and Biggest
monastery, Drepung.
Beautifully placed on a
mountain slope 12 km.
outside Lhasa. After
Returning to the city for
lunch we will go to the
Norbulinka, the former
summer palace of the Dalai
Lama. Surrounded by a lush
green garden, it’s a
favorite place for Tibetan
people to celebrate their
festivals.
Days 05 :
In the morning visit the Potala Palace, one of
the wonders in the world and
one of the marvels of Tibet.
This huge structure is the
former home of the Dalai
Lama and a sight you will
definitely not forget. In
the afternoon we visit the
Jokhang Temple, the most
sacred and oldest temple in
Tibet. The walk around it is
called the Barkhor and a
must for all pilgrims; it is
also a famous bazaar for
Tibetan handicrafts and
antiques.
Days 06 :
The morning is free to relax
or to explore the small
alleys in the old Tibetan
part of Lhasa. In
the afternoon we will visit
Sera monastery, 5 km.
outside Lhasa, where we can
watch the monks debating.
They do this in a very
special way by making all
kinds of gestures with their
hands and arms.
Days 07 :
You begin your overland
adventure with a full day
drive to Gyantse.
Along the way you cross the
Kamba-La (4794m) and the
Karo la pass (5010m), both
grant spectacular views.
After the Kamba la you come
to Yamdrok tso, also known
as the Turquoise Lake.
Days 08 :
This will be a busy day. In
the morning visit Gyantse stupa and monastery
followed by a two-hour drive
to Shigatse. Here see the
giant Buddha in the famous
Tashilumpo monastery. The
seat of the Panchen Lama.
Days 09 : The journey today
brings you over two high
passes with fine views. For
lunch we stop in the small
town of Lhatse. Depending on
how much time we spend
during the morning in
Shigatse we will stay
overnight in Lhatse or
Tingri. Here you will meet
your Nepali staff for your
onward journey.
Days 10 :
On the first long driving
day over the sandy and rocky
land of Tibet, other things
like lake, nomads chasing
thousands of yaks and sheep
keep you busy. By the late
afternoon you will cross
Bhramha Purtra River way to
typical Chinese and Tibetan
town, Saga for night.
Days 11 :
Jeeps and trucks roll on the
wide valley following rivers
and grazing land of yaks and
sheep. Far south you can see
snow covered peaks near by
you, lots of rocky peaks and
sand duns give you an ideal
world. Depends on season,
nomads and other mobile
shopkeepers are attired by
beautiful traditional
costume, waiting your
arrival with hot tea and
other supplies along with
big smile.
Days 12 :
The longest driving day
starts with full of
excitement; by the late
afternoon you can have the
first sight of Holy Kailash
Parbat and Manasarovar.
Hore, a small village near
by Lake Manasarover, we will
spend a night there.
Days 13 :
The highest lake of fresh
water with turquoise
complexion in the world is
full of fishes and swans.
Holy Kailash Parbat, Mt.
Gurula-Mandala, Lake
Rashekshi are lying on its
surrounding. The region is
considered rich for gold and
other mines, hot springs and
hundreds of wild living
creatures. Night will be
spending at Chu Gumba.
Days 14 : Manasarovar is the
lake of compassion,
tranquility and bliss. After
completing the memorable
morning Bath and Puja we
will be heading towards
Darchen. It is considered as
a base camp for the Holy
Kailash Parikrama.
Days 15 : It is one of the
exciting days walking along
the beautiful rocky cliffs;
water falls with some clouds
in the clear blue sky make
you feeling that Great God
Shiva is every where with
tons of blessing to you.
Time to time the face of Kailash Parbat will be kept
on appearing. For 15 km
trail it takes almost 7 hrs.
Days 16 :
Hardest but Holiest day of
your pilgrimage Yatra
with Dolma-La between two
valleys: Yamasthal should be
crossed to reach the
Shiva-sthal while your steps
go closer to the pass. Once
you reach the top, just do
the holiest offering and sit
down for meditation to
forget you. Once your steps
go down, Parvati-stal and
Gauri Kunda are on the way.
By the late afternoon you
will arrive Zuthal Puk (The
cave of Miracles. The great
ascetic Milerappa is
supposed to have performed
miracles here).
Days 17 :
After walking 3 hours, all
the driving crew will be
waiting your arrival. By the
late afternoon you will be
at your camp.
Days 18 :
This day is a long drive,
about 300km, back to Praryang. We re-cross the
Mayun-La and several rivers.
Days 19 :
We continue driving thisday along a 255-km
stretch of road to Saga,
passing through the small
town of Zhongba en-route.
Days 20 :
Leaving Saga, we again cross
the Yarlung
Tsangpo by ferry, and pass
by Peiku-tso before arriving
back at Nyalam.
Days 21 :
From Nyalam, we head
back to the border town of
Zhangmu. From Zhangmu, it's
a short drive to the
Friendship Bridge which
spans the Bhote Kosi River
and marks the Tibet / Nepal
border. We say goodbye to
our Tibetan guide and driver
and walk to Nepalese
Immigration Control in
Kodari where our Nepalese
staff will meet us. After
completing the re-entry
formalities we continue the
drive to Kathmandu, which,
depending on road and
weather conditions, should
take about 5 hours.
Days 22 :
After breakfast we drive to Daksinkali to see
the animal sacrifices.
Daksinkali temple located at
the foothills south of the
valley is the most important
venue of animal sacrifices
to the goddess Kali.
En-route we visit Pharping
Monastery & Chovar Gorge.
The Buddhist history says,
Milerapa from Tibet took one
night shelter in the cave,
and accordingly blessed this
monastery. Hindus have their
version that it was Pancha
Pandav who had visited this
place. The Chovar gorge
which god Manjushree to
create the Kathmandu valley
drained the waters of
primeval lake. We then
finally visit to Kritipur.
The oldest Newari village,
which is famous for local
architect, then back to
hotel.
Days 23 :
After breakfast you
will have some free time
until the time to leave the
international airport for
your final departure.
