Days 01 :
Arrive at Tribhuwan
international airport,
Kathmandu, you are welcomed
by the hospitable meeting
and then you will be
transferred to your hotel.
Short briefing will be
followed about necessary
formalities and rest of the
program. Depending on
arrival time you will have
choice of visiting nearby
sanctuaries or have a rest
day.
Days 02 :
After breakfast we drive to Swoyambhunatha
stupa has it that Manjushree,
found of Kathmandu valley,
and discovered the lotus of
ancient valley lake on which
site the great stupa of
swoyambhunath was later
built. The omni sighted
stare of Buddha greets
visitors & residents a like
compassion. This is one of
the oldest Buddhist stupa in
the world, which has been
registered in UNICEOO
heritage side. We then visit
to Kathmandu Durbar Square.

situated the center of
Kathmandu where you can see
the House of Living Goddess
”KUMARI” Kasthamandup
temple” Said that was built
from single tree in 16th
century, big bell-big drams,
erotic carving in old
temple, old palace etc. We
then finally were
sightseeing to Patan Durbar
Square. Patan Durbar square
is one of the beautiful
Durbars square in Kathmandu
valley. It is very famous
for woodcarving, Metal
works, Temples and
Monasteries. Tour of Patan
includes tour of Krishna
temple, Patan king’s palace,
Golden temple and much more.
Days 03 :
Drive to the airport for the
flight from Kathmandu to Lhasa. This
One-hour Trans Himalayan
flight will give you an
opportunity to have an
aerial view of Mt. Everest
and other Himalayan Peaks.
Arrival at Gonggar airport
around 13.30 hrs. Local
time. After clearing
immigration and customs it
will be a 2-hrs drive to
cover the 93 km. to Lhasa,
which is situated
at altitude of (3650m).
Days 04 : We start our
sightseeing with a visit to
one of Tibet's most
important and biggest
monastery, Drepung.
Beautifully placed on a
mountain slope 12 km.
outside Lhasa. After
Returning to the city for
lunch we will go to the
Norbulinka, the former
summer palace of the Dalai
Lama. Surrounded by a lush
green garden, it’s a
favorite place for Tibetan
people to celebrate their
festivals.
Days 05 :
In the morning visit the Potala Palace, one of
the wonders in the world and
one of the marvels of Tibet.
This huge structure is the
former home of the Dalai
Lama and a sight you will
definitely not forget. In
the afternoon we visit the
Jokhang Temple, the most
sacred and oldest temple in
Tibet. The walk around it is
called the Barkhor and a
must for all pilgrims; it is
also a famous bazaar for
Tibetan handicrafts and
antiques.
Days 06 :
The morning is free to relax
or to explore the small
alleys in the old Tibetan
part of Lhasa. In
the afternoon we will visit
Sera monastery, 5-km.
outside Lhasa, where we can
watch the monks debating.
They do this in a very
special way by making all
kinds of gestures with their
hands and arms.
Days 07 :
Transfer to airport 2-hrs
drive - Representative will
assist you. Departure of
flight for Kathmandu would
be approx 10:00hr. China
Standard time and arriving
Kathmandu at 9:AM Nepal
standard time. Flight Lhasa to Kathmandu takes
1-hour 10 minutes. During
the flight you will see the
following: Yarlung Tsangpo
River, Lake Yamdrok, Mt.
Kanchanjunga (8586m), Mt.
Makalu (8463m) and Mt.
Everest (8848m) If weather
permitting. Free day for
relax or shopping.
Days 08 :
After breakfast we drive to Daksinkali to see
the animal sacrifices.
Daksinkali temple located at
the foothills south of the
valley is the most important
venue of animal sacrifices
to the goddess Kali.
En-route we visit Pharping
Monastery & Chovar Gorge.
The Buddhist history says,
Milerapa from Tibet took one
night shelter in the cave,
and accordingly blessed this
monastery. Hindus have their
version that it was Pancha
Pandav who had visited this
place. The Chovar gorge
which god Manjushree to
create the Kathmandu valley
drained the waters of
primeval lake. We then
finally visit to Kritipur.
The oldest Newari village,
which is famous for local
architect, then back to
hotel.
Days 09 :
After breakfast you
will have some free time
until the time to leave the
international airport for
your final departure.
