PEAK CLIMBING IN NEPAL

 

Nepal having 1310 Himalayan peaks over 6000 meters offers joys of mountaineering in Nepal which can be combined with the pleasure of trekking. We organize trekking peak climbing on the major trekking peaks in Nepal opened by Nepal mountaineering Association. Mountaineering beginners can enjoy trekking with a combination of peak climbing mainly in Everest, Annapurna and Langtang regions.

The most popular trekking peaks are Island Peak, Mera Peak, Lobuche East Peak, Pokalde Peak, in Everest region, Naya Kanga, Yala peak in Langtang region and Pisang Peak, Singuchuli Peak, Tharpu Chuli Peak in Annapurna region. For the more adventurous traveler, there are 18 minor peaks open for Alpine climbing under Nepal Mountaineering Association. The climbing of these peaks is controlled under the rules & regulations formulated by this Association. Detailed information & application for climbing permits are available from the Association’s Office or contact your trekking Agency in Kathmandu who have member of Nepal Mountaineering Association. It should be noted that in most cases the climbing of these minor peaks (Trekking Peaks) required snow and Ice climbing experience. We operate following Trekking peak climbing trips for you. Trekking Peak Climbing Equipments

The list of suggested trekking equipment, you should take along with various items of mountaineering gears for any trip which has crossed by steep, snow-covered ground. It might be necessary for the group roping up as a protection precaution. To facilitate this process of roping up, you will need to maintain a minimum requirement, a climbing harness, a climbing sling and two locking carabineers. Plastic mountaineering boots, ice axe, crampons and other items of equipment, which are required for our trekking peak.
