Days 01 :
Arrive at Tribhuwan international
airport, Kathmandu, you are welcomed by the
hospitable meeting and then you will be
transferred to your hotel. Short briefing will
be followed about necessary formalities and rest
of the program. Depending on arrival time you
will have choice of visiting nearby sanctuaries
or have a rest day.
Days 02 :
After breakfast we drive to Daksinkali
to see the animal sacrifices. Daksinkali temple
located at the foothills south of the valley is
the most important venue of animal sacrifices to
the goddess Kali. En-route we visit Pharping
Monastery & Chovar Gorge. The Buddhist history
says, Milerapa from Tibet took one night shelter
in the cave, and accordingly blessed this
monastery. Hindus have their version that it was
Pancha Pandav who had visited this place. The
Chovar gorge which god Manjushree to create the
Kathmandu valley drained the waters of primeval
lake. We then finally visit to Patan Durbar
Square. Patan Durbar Square is one of the
beautiful Durbar Square in Kathmandu valley. It
is very famous for woodcarving, Metal works,
Temples and Monasteries. Tour of Patan includes
tour of Krishna temple, Patan kings palace,
Golden temple and much more.
Days 03 :
After breakfast we drive to Pashupatinath temple. The holiest of holy Hindu
temple in south Asia is the focal point of
pilgrimage from all over the sub-continent. The
holy river Bagmati flowing nearby is the
cremation ground of the Hindus. Funeral pyres
can be viewed from across the riverbank. We then
visit to Boudhanath stupa. Probably the largest
stupa in the world is also found in Kathmandu
valley the great stupa of Boudhanath. Again the
omni-sighted eyes of the Budha stare all the
directions. This stupa is the place of worship
of Tibetan Buddhists predominantly. Then evening
we drive to Nagarkot. Nagarkot situated is
(2300m) above the sea level. This spot provides
an excellent view of the sunset and Mt. Everest
can be seen on a clear day.
Days 04 :
Wake up call to see sunrise
and the Himalayan range.
After breakfast we drive to Changunarayan: This is one of the oldest Hindu
temples in Kathmandu valley that exists in the
valley dating back to the 4th century. We then
visit Bhaktapur Durbar square. Bhaktapur is one
of the oldest cities in Kathmandu valley. It is
well known as Living Museum. Old brick paved
enclave of old Royal palace, Nyathapola Temple,
Datatriya temple exquisite artwork offers a
picture of the grandeur of medieval Nepal. It is
very famous for woodcarving and pottery
products. After sightseeing drive back to
Kathmandu.
Days 05 :
After breakfast we drive to
rafting starting point at Trisuli River. It takes
approximately 2-hrs drive from Kathmandu. This
River is popular as access to the Prithivi
Highway makes "breaking off" the journey easy.
Lunch we'll be served after 2/3-hrs rafting in
the riverside. After lunch we have raft again
and we drive to Chitwan National Park upon
arrival, rooms assigned and there will be a
short briefing on the program and our
facilities. After dinner slide presentation. One
of our jungle exports will introduce background
data and history of the Royal Chitwan National
Park as well as some other
topics relating to wildlife.
Days 06 :
Wake up call followed by tea
or coffee, and then proceed
on a Nature Walk: This
encounter on foot with the
environment will introduce
the main features of eastern Chitwan.
Sal forest, open grassland and reverie jungle.
Our guides will help you identify some species
of birds, plants and other wildlife that you may
encounter. Around 8:30AM breakfast will serve.
After breakfast we process on Elephant-back
safari: Guests will ride on an elephant to
explore the jungle and wildlife you will be able
to see the one-horned rhinoceros, several types
of deer, monkeys, wild boar, bison, sloth bear,
leopard and, if lucky, the Royal Bengal tiger.
This exciting ride lasts for 2-3-hrs. Lunch will
be serving around 1.00 PM: After lunch we have
Canoeing Trip: A traditional dugout canoe takes
you on a silent trip down the Rapti river to
view aquatic birds and the animals of the
riverbanks. Back to resort through the Jungle.
In the evening, Tharu Stick dance show: Farmers
of the nearby villages will show some of their
traditional skills and dances.
Days 07 :
Early wake up call followed
by tea or coffee, and then
proceed on a Bird Watching
after breakfast luggage down
and departure around 9.30 AM
to Lumbini. Lumbini is the
Birthplace of Lord Buddha, the apostle of peace,
compassion. The old Monastery, images of
Buddhas mother Maya Devi, etc. are still
preserved in Lumbini.
Days 08 :
After breakfast we drive to Tansen the
most popular summer resort with far stretching
views of the Himalayas. Tansen is a great
rarity, a Nepali town big enough to be
interesting, yet so far utterly unspoiled. Set
at (1400m) on the southern side of the
Mahabharat range in south central Nepal, its an
ideal hill station, with a marvelously fresh
climate.
Days 09 :
Visiting around Tansen then we drive to
Gorkha,then we have a sightseeing tour of Gorkha
Palace, the palace of the King Prithivi Narayan
Shah who united Nepal in 1881 AD and visit the
Bazar.
Days 10 :
After breakfast, visiting we
drive to Pokhara and transfer to hotel. Pokhara is one of
the most picturesque tours. The Annapurna and
famous "Fishtail" mountain peak of Machapuchhare
tower over the tropical setting of Pokhara and
you spend there will be the scenic highlight of
your trip.
Days 11 :
Wake up early in the morning
and we drive to Sarangkot to see the sunrise and
Himalayas view, after spectacular view and
Sunrise, we drive back to Pokhara, after
breakfast again we have day sightseeing in
Pokhara such as Devi's fall; Mahendra cave; Seti
river gorge; Bindabasini temple and Tibetan
refugee camp, afternoon boating in Fewa Lake.
Days 12 :
After breakfast we drive
back to Kathmandu. After
arrive in Kathmandu you have
free evening for shopping
Days 13 :
After breakfast we drive to Bungmati.
Bugmati is a traditional Newari village in
Kathmandu Valley. It is about 10-kms south of
Kathmndu most of peoples are farmers and works
in wood carving. Main attraction in Bugmati is
living culture of newari peoples and Temple of
red Machhendranath (God of Rain). We then drive
to Sankhu & Bajra Yogini temple. This is a post
on the old trade route from Kathamndu to Lhasa
famous for many fine Newari houses with
elaborately carved window frames. Nearby is the
temple of tantrum goddess Baja Yogi. You have
free evening for shopping to pick up last minute
souvenir.
Days 14 :
After breakfast you will
have some free time until
the time to leave the
international airport for
your final departure.
