Churen Himal is situated north west from Beni a
part of Jaljala trek and this is completely
apart from the beaten paths, this trekking is
for the person who loves the beauty of nature
and the wild valleys of course spectacular view
of Dhaulagiri. The trek offer an opportunity to
discover areas, which remain practically,
untouched and still retain an Individual
lifestyle without being affected by western
influences. On this trekking you will have a
chance to trek into the mass of the Dhorpatan
hills. This area is full of rivers and fast
glacial streams, lots of forest and animals.
Visit the base camp of Churen Himal and follow
the Pelma Khola down from its source to the rich
forests and rocky spires of Lower Dolpa. A land
myth and legend. In the settlement of Dhorpatan
we can see the Bon Monastery, Tibetan Herbal
Medicine School as well as friendly local
village.
The Churen Himal trek is a non touristic
trekking trail in the Annapurna region. This
trek is for those who love to explore beautiful
nature and wild valleys. The exotic,
breathtaking Himalayas like Dhaulagiri,
Annapurna, Gurja Himal and Churen Himal can be
viewed during the Churen Himal trek. We will
take you out of the beaten track, inside a
region where very few foreigners are travelling,
reaching the Churen Himal base camp, a peak that
belongs to the western Dhaulagiri range.
