Namaste!
I recently returned from a remarkable holiday adventure in Nepal. My friend Jan and I arranged to travel with Nepal Adventure Point to the Upper Mustang with horses. It was a very special experience for us. We had a wonderfully knowledgeable and caring guide, Padam, and a good humoured horseman, Tsam. We went with four horses, one for each of us and our guide and one pack horse. We were surprised at first at the small size of the horses but came to respect and depend on their incredible strength and spirits throughout the trek. The mountain scenery was very varied. In places small valleys cradled fields with crops of barley and wheat and villages of simple whitewashed houses. Between the villages there were wild vistas of towering peaks, deep ravines, cliffs of amazingly different colours, red, gold, black, grey, and white. There was little vegetation but the small mountain streams offered short grass to our hard working horses as they rested from time to time along our way. When the going got too steep, up or down, we dismounted and trekked on foot for a time before continuing our ride between and over the high passes. Each pass offered ever more remarkable panoramic vistas as we continued up the way to Lo-Manthang, the remarkable walled town at the head of the valley. The chortens at the entrance of the villages reminded us of the Bhuddist cultural significance of animals and people in this remote region. The people were friendly and welcoming and our guide made sure that we had everything we needed to complete the adventure safely and with amazing memories to take away. Jan and I highly recommend Nepal Adventure Point to help you plan and achieve your journey in this remarkable country.

Hi Ryan,
A while back we enquired about Nepal riding trek. You didn’t offer one so Sylvia Chard and I searched one out.( we used your Company for Argentina). We found a trekking company in Nepal who offered to take us into the Upper Mustang region of Nepal (The forbidden Kingdom./ ancient Tibetan culture) Only 2000 permits are issued for this area per year.

This was the most amazing trek on small, tough Tibetan ponies. It can be 2 weeks or longer. You ride from Jomson. (get there by small plane from Pokhara) You then ride through many high passes up to 14000 ft towards the Tibet/Chinese border. It is so remote and untouched by tourism. It is a tough ride..lots of ups and down a you have to get off and lead your horses at times. We have never seen such topography. The accommodation is very basic, but every effort is made. It is not luxury by any means, but a true to life experience.
We will send you pictures.

Two Nepalese brothers (Padam and BB Bhandari) run it out of Katmandu. They are very experienced, professional, and flexible. They have worked for years as porters and guides on mountain expeditions in Nepal.

Namaste! Friends of Nepal!!
I have been in Nepal about seven times. I love this country, their culture and people very much. I visited the Everest region, Annapurna Base Camp, Dhaulagiri, Langtang and I've been in Tibet and Bhutan as well. All the time BB and his men organized the tours. I always recommend "Nepal Adventure Point" very much. You get a lot of information about the region you're travelling to. The organization is brilliant and the crew is very friendly and helpful. At the same time we also had a lot of fun cause we sang and danced together. We talked about Nepal and the rest of the world. But for me it was very important to get to know Nepal and its population. BB, thanks a lot for everything and I'll be back for sure as soon as I can.
Greetings from Germany

Namaste Nepal!
Our group of ten peoples and myself, we did the Annapurna circuit trek. BB, our guide, showed us the wonderful mountain range and gave us a lot of information about this part of Nepal and its people. We had a great time cause BB and his friends always tried to do everything for our convenience. In the evening we sang and danced together- we always called it "Nepali culture"- it was really great. I'll never forget this trek. Nepal is a wonderful country and the people impressed me very much. They laughed a lot and enjoyed life though they don't have lots of money and lots of possessives. When you leave Nepal you'll take a lot of positive impressions with you. Namaste! Nepal!! I'll be back!!!

Namaste!
Our guide was the most kind, generous and thoughtful, we have ever encountered, he was so flexible and re-arranged and adjusted our route to fill our specific needs but still with a warm and welcoming smile and with his common phrase of "Don't worry, No Problem." Due to his immense knowledge and experience made my experience in a Nepalese mountain all the more enjoyable. We highly recommended Nepal Adventure Point and our guide Padam.
